I have a veggie garden that has been overcome with weeds/grass. I just don't have the time to sort it out. All weeds need to be removed digging down to at least 1 foot down, where a heavy duty weed proofing mat is to be installed, ensuring that the weed mat completely covers the area, with no gaps, including the sides. Then after installation, fill in with the good soil. There is also an area next to the veggie patch full of weeds which I've included in pictures.
