Hello, We are looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to repair water-damaged timber skirting board and the lower section of a timber door frame/jamb. The original water leak has already been repaired, so there is no ongoing water issue. As shown in the photos, there is some deterioration/rot and damage to the timber around the bottom of the door frame and adjacent skirting board. We are looking for someone to: • Assess the extent of the damaged timber • Remove any damaged/rotted sections as required • Repair or replace the affected timber/skirting • Ensure the repaired area is solid, neat and properly finished • Sand, fill and prepare the area for painting • Repaint the repaired sections so they blend in with the existing door frame/skirting We are after a quality, neat finish, as this is inside our home and we are preparing the property for sale. Timing: We need the job completed by Wednesday 26th August. We work from home most days, so there is some flexibility around the day/time and we can generally provide access during business hours.
