It is a Double storey house. Squeaky flooring on the first floor in the hallway/ walkway at the entrances to two bedrooms (not across the whole bedrooms). Minor squeak near the end of the stairs. Carpet is already removed for easy access. Tried fixing with screws from top by removing carpet, didn't resolve the issue. Hi, I’ve got a small section of outdoor decking that’s been heat damaged from a firepit. The affected area is roughly the size of a dinner plate. The boards are slightly cracked and scorched. I’m looking for someone experienced with decking to: - Assess the damage - Either sand/fill and repaint, OR replace 1–2 boards if needed - Blend the repair so it matches the surrounding deck This is for a rental property, so the goal is a clean, tidy finish that doesn’t stand out. Looking for someone experienced with timber floor repairs to fix a few small chips/gouges in our wooden floorboards. Damage includes: -A couple of small holes/chips in the wood -some surface wear/scratches in nearby area I’m not looking for a full sand/polish at this stage — just a tidy cosmetic repair (fill, colour match, and seal if needed) to make the damage less noticeable. Need to repair a part of the timber floor as it has become uneven and bouncy. A portion of the floor is already touching the door and preventing it from opening completely, see attached image. Need the floor levelled again.
