The fence post is rotted at the base. It's also half way along a 6.3m expanse. I would happily take your advice, I think it would be smarter to just install two brand new fence posts. You can advise if you think it's worth replacing the palings (i think they are fine for now). it's the creamy yellow fence in the images. One image shows it last week when it was falling over, and the other today, since my brother visited and helped me wedge it upright with a piece of H2.

Install metal gate. Don’t care what it looks like. Just need a somewhat sturdy aluminum or steel gate. You supply and install. Not colourbond as that can be kicked in easily. Photos as above . Gate - available space from brick to brick is 1.2m, height is 1.2m

A bird of paradise in our front yard has grown a bit too big and pushed over our front fence causing the fence panel/picket to pop out. I need someone to help trim the bird of paradise and put the fence back (I have all the parts of the original fence).
