Install Mesh Fencing Looking for someone experienced to install approximately 50m of mesh fencing along our backyard boundary in Tallebudgera. We have the mesh fencing and posts ready to go. Posts will need to be driven into firm ground approximately every 1.5m, with the mesh secured tightly, including along the bottom to prevent our dog escaping. We would like the fencing to go behind the plants slightly so it’s not an eye sore. No gate required. Existing fencing at both ends can potentially be used for securing. The existing horizontal rails are solid, but some of the original post bases have rotted. The soil is dirt/clay (no hard rock or shale to drill through). Scope of Work Includes: 1. Supply & Install 9 New H4 Treated Pine Posts: Must be dug to at least 600mm deep, concreted with rapid-set, and securely bolted/tied to the existing rails to act as a strong new backbone for the fence line. 2. Supply & Install KDAT 100mm Palings: I will be painting the fence immediately after completion, so you must supply KDAT (Kiln Dried After Treatment) 100mm rough sawn palings, not wet off the pack. 3. No Soil Contact: All new palings must be installed slightly elevated off the soft ground (approx. 10–20mm gap) to prevent the timber from wicking moisture and rotting. 4. Butt Tight & Double Fastened: Palings must be butted tight against each other for privacy. You must use two galvanized nails or fence screws at every single rail crossing per paling to prevent the timber from twisting or cupping in the sun. 5. Clean up: Leave the fence line tidy on completion. No major disposal required as the old fence skeleton stays in place. Materials Required (To be included in your quote): • 9x H4 Treated Pine Posts (2.4m length) + rapid-set concrete bags • Approx. 245x H3 KDAT 100mm Treated Pine Palings (1.8m length) • All necessary galvanized fixings (structural screws for posts + fence nails/screws). Posts and rails are fine — just need the damaged sheet removed and replaced with a matching one. Fence has easy access. Glass panels are all slowly coming undone and wonkey as ground has moved and posts done align with glass any more. We have 9m of fencing that is overdue for a replacement. It has had a hedge grow wild and envelope it that needs to be cleared so it doesn’t return to ruin a new fence. The uprights are concreted in to a 1.2m retaining wall and stable to secure new panels to. Replacement using pine wood is fine.

Looking for some quotes to put in a new gate at the top of our external stairs onto our deck. Quotes to include materials cost. Was thinking timber but open to ideas of the best style of gate. The space in between the existing posts is approx 90cm wide, and would need to be about 1m tall. Currently we have an aluminium gate but was poorly installed by previous owner, doesn’t properly fit the space and has now broken.
