I’m looking for a licensed electrician to supply and install new LED downlights, safely disconnecting existing large/old downlights in a residential house. Scope of works: Supply, wiring & installation of new 90mm white LED downlight fittings in the following locations: -Ground Floor 20 locations, Female plug-base sockets to be terminated onto existing cabling -First Floor 11 locations, Female plug-base sockets to be terminated onto existing cabling Notes / Inclusions: Certificate of Electrical Safety to be provided on completion • We currently have old, large downlights — 14 on the ground floor and 10 upstairs • The existing cut-outs are larger than standard LED downlights • New ceiling holes to be cut for standard LED downlights • Existing fittings to be safely removed and disconnected • Existing cabling to be reused where possible, with additional cabling added where required • Patch and paint will be handled separately by us Requirements: Must be a licensed electrician (Victoria) All work to comply with Australian Standards Please quote supply + installation, and specify Availability and estimated duration

Hi there, I need a hand replacing the batteries in my smoke alarm. There are 2 of them. • The alarms are mounted on the ceiling, and I don’t have a ladder tall enough to reach it. • Should be a quick and simple job for someone with a ladder.

One Circuit (no heavy load) kept tripping. It was slightly warm to the touch. Now, after tripping six times in the last 90 minutes, there is no power to the appliances, even though the switch is on. And it is no longer warm to the touch. Leaky circuit? Bad wiring? Need it fixed.

Hi all, Looking to upgrade my LED downlights - i want to replace them with something brighter (thinking ~1000lm - flush style). I have only looked at one of them, but I think they are ALL hardwired, and wondering if i can convert them all to plug & play instead for ease of future replacement. I think at least 15-20 to do (indoors) happy to source the lights myself, however open to the tradesman to supply (at the right price) Furthermore - also looking to install exhaust fans that feed to atmosphere in 2x bathrooms.
