Hi there 👋 I had an NBN fibre upgrade appointment, but the technician couldn’t complete the installation because I wanted the indoor NBN connection box/modem installed in my closet (where my current setup is). He said he couldn’t use the existing cable path as it runs inside the brick facade, and therefore couldn’t get a new fibre through to that point. He also didn’t install the outdoor unit for the same reason. He advised me to get a licensed electrician/data cabler to: Create a new cable path or conduit from outside (where NBN will mount the outdoor unit) to the closet where I want the modem. Ensure the cable route is ready for NBN to return and complete the fibre connection. Job details: Single-storey brick home 🏡 Need neat, NBN-compliant cabling or conduit installed Easy access to both outdoor wall and closet Just need the cable path ready — NBN will handle the fibre install once this part is done Timing: Flexible — weekday or weekend is fine.
