I have 2 pendant lights to remove and change to down lights.

Downlights need changing, they are old and the transformers have gone bad for a few. I have the new downlights and the backend connections. Might need to make the hole bigger when installing new ones so pease bring a saw to cut through the gyprock if necessary. Thank you

I require a qualified electrician to fix a total of 4 down lights in my property. I have five total downlights that require fixing; three downlights are connected to each other in the hallway (2 small and one standard) and all three use the same 2 light switches. The other two downlights are separate. One is on a ceiling approx 3 meters high, so a ladder is required. The globes on the downlights have been replaced and the lights are still not working, therefore maybe a wiring/transformer issue. Qualified/licensed electricians only please.

Hello, We are looking for a licensed QLD electrician to attend our retail store, in Strathpine Centre, to repair multiple faulty downlights (4) in our optometry room. The Issue: The lighting in our optometry room has failed. One recessed LED downlight is completely out, and at least one other is flickering. This has made the room too dark and the flickering is very off-putting, affecting our ability to conduct eye tests properly. The Job: The task is to diagnose and repair the faulty downlights to restore full and stable lighting. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings in the ceiling (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Diagnosing the cause of the faults (e.g., failed LED units, faulty drivers, a loose connection, or a dimmer issue). 3. Supplying and installing new replacement parts as needed. This will likely involve replacing at least two LED downlights and/or their drivers. 4. Ensuring all new lights match the existing ones in colour temperature and brightness. 5. Testing the lights thoroughly to confirm they are all working correctly without any flickering. There are 4 downlights altogether.
