Looking for an ACMA Open Registered Data Cabler – Berwick I recently had NBN FTTP installed and want a fully wired home network. Scope: - Ethernet connections for 4 laptops in 4 different rooms (including the office where the NBN box is located). - Ethernet connections for TVs in the living and lounge rooms. - Reuse existing TV antenna/Foxtel cable pathways where feasible to minimise wall damage. - Retain at least one TV antenna outlet for free-to-air TV. - Set up the router connected to the NBN box and install/configure a Wi-Fi access point (or equivalent) near the centre of the house for phones/tablets. - Single-storey house with easy subfloor access. Materials: I will supply all materials. Please visit first to assess feasibility, confirm cable routes, and provide a materials list. Return on a second visit (or more if required) to complete the installation. I'm happy to use Cat6, Cat6A, or a higher-spec cable if you recommend it for better future-proofing. Requirements: - Current ACMA Open Registered Cabler. - Issue the required TCA1/telecommunications cabling compliance documentation on completion. - Experience with structured cabling, NBN FTTP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi APs. Please provide your labour-only quote, relevant experience, and availability. Preference for installers based in or around Berwick due to multiple visits.

Looking for someone with experience working on computer circuitry to remove and replace the DC jack on a laptop motherboard, that the power cord plugs into. Should be simple. I have attempted to replace it myself, however, cannot get the solder in the board to melt. I only have a basic setup. I have the DC jack required, and the board is partially removed from the laptop...enough to access the area required. If needed, I could completely remove the motherboard, particularly if it will make the price noticably cheaper. Also, if it will make it cheaper, I can bring the laptop/motherboard to you.
