Carpenter required – installation of two timber doors in Paddington Looking for an experienced carpenter to install two new solid timber doors in an older Victorian terrace in Paddington, Sydney. Scope of work: * Install one new internal Victorian four-panel door between the living and dining rooms. * Install one new external timber glazed back door. * Trim and plane doors as required to fit existing openings. * Fit new hinges, door knobs, latches and external locking hardware (all supplied). * Make necessary adjustments to existing door frames/jambs and install or replace timber stops/trim as required. * Ensure both doors open, close and latch correctly. The property is an older Victorian terrace, so experience working with older, potentially uneven door frames is preferred. Doors and hardware are being supplied. I have existing built-in cabinetry with a full-width flat shelf and an angled display section fixed on top. I would like the angled section removed and the flat shelf cut back in depth so that a shallow full-width ledge remains, approximately 200 mm deep. I believe the cabinetry is MDF/timber and it will eventually be repainted, so I do not need a perfect factory finish, but I do want the cut edge neat, fixing holes filled, and the cabinetry left tidy and structurally sound. Please bring appropriate tools and confirm you have experience modifying cabinetry/joinery. Photos attached.

I would like these two cabinet doors replaced with the same colour poly finish. The new doors will be handless and push open. The approximate measurements are: Lower door 1680x590x14mm Upper door 910x590x14mm They are covering a washer dryer combo and it is very tight to work around the hinges. See the pictures. The reason for replacement, is this used to be one door, but I had to cut it into door to get it in an out of the bathroom to replace the washer dryer. My cut was pretty dodgy and now looks rubbish.

Broken drawers in a cabinet that need fixing, some open, some don't and some are jammed.

We have a small circular cut out in the back of some joinery to feed cables and we need to increase the hole slightly so we can fit a hand/arm in. Probably an extra few cm each side so a hand can reach in.

I have a 2m high x 1.6m wide freestanding outdoor mirror made from 45mm x 45mm angled stainless steel. I would like to mount it to a wall and to do this I need to have tabs welded to the sides, bottom and top of the mirror frame. I have 9 mild steel tabs made up to weld onto the back of the mirror frame, 2 each side and top and 3 at the bottom. Because the mirror is so large, this is something that I need to get done on site.
