I need an experienced carpenter with proper tools to come in and build a wooden frame around a bench seat for IKEA Metod cabinets and install it to masonry walls. What’s already done: The 4 Metod cabinet boxes are assembled and positioned in an L-shape. What I need help with: • Build a treated pine (H2) sub-frame to sit underneath/around the cabinets so the cabinets themselves aren’t carrying the load of people sitting on top — the frame takes the weight, the cabinets are just infill • Level everything up properly (the floor is timber over concrete, walls are masonry) • Fix the assembly securely to masonry walls with a shim between the wood and the wall for air flow as it is a damp corner — I have shims, dynabolts, screws, and a good amount of treated pine H2 ready to go • Securely plywood top to the entire structure *I will handle the final paint job What I have: • All Metod cabinets (assembled) • Treated pine H2 in a range of lengths (460mm ×6, 1000mm, 1290mm ×11, 1740mm ×3, 2200mm ×6) • Dynabolts and heaps of treated pine screws • Ryobi drill What you’ll need to bring: • Saw (circular or drop saw) - the timber I have will need to be cut on site. • plywood for the top that is sturdy enough to carry the weight of people sitting • Any additional wood, fixings or tools you typically work with

We’ve got an outdoor table that has a table top and a separate frame / legs. The frame / legs have rusted but we’d like to keep the table top. So need a carpenter to build a lightweight frame / legs. We have some nice wood that is the right size / length and isn’t hard wood (so easy to work with). Probably a 2-3 hour job. I am looking for a skilled carpenter or handyman to cut to size timber moulding to add paneling to my existing kitchen doors. Drill holes for handles. Doors and drawers are mostly modular allowing to use template for cutting. Cut 3 mdf trips to sit behind skirting board to be flush with existing door as shown in picture. Installation not required. Must have own mitre saw, table saw for joinery and drill.
