I'm trying to see if someone get make a custom vinyl record cabinet (see pictures for inspiration). I've been shopping around but cannot find anything like this. I want some sort of hinge with a door that opens up to uncover my audio-Technica turntable (Audio Technica LP60X USB Belt Drive). Underneath that, I'd like some sort of cavity to fit a speaker, then on the side, storage large enough for vinyl records (35cm high and 35cm deep). Below or on the side of that, I'd like some drawers or tradional cupboard doors for extra storage.

I’m planning to replace the door and drawer front in my kitchen and would like an experienced cabinet maker to check measure each of the fronts so that I can place the order with the supplier. There are approx 24 door/drawer fronts to be measured plus side panels, fillers, etc. Bonus if you can also install as we can book that in afterwards

We’re looking for a local carpenter/chippy to assist with a weatherboard property in Bayswater: Remove and replace sections of rotten weatherboard/wood (like-for-like replacement). . Must have experience with weatherboard homes, own tools, and be able to provide a neat, professional finish. Site inspection preferred before quoting. We also have another job in Glen waverley where we need to Construct and install an internal stud wall and couple of doors.

Built-in oven cannot be fully pushed in, due to the base underneath being slightly too high (see photo). Looking for someone to have a quick look and make a simple adjustment if possible (e.g. trimming, lowering, or adjusting the base) so the oven can slide in properly.

This external wooden door is rubbing against the bottom frame and is difficult to close properly. We attempted to fix the issue by adding shims to the hinges but had no success. The rubbing area is annotated in the photo — it’s at the bottom of the door panel. We’d like a skilled carpenter to: • Remove the door from its hinges • Trim the bottom edge to prevent rubbing • Rehang the door for smooth operation Photos attached for reference.

The task involves cutting down the following boards: Quantity: 150 sheets Original Size: 2740mm x 870mm Quantity: 150 sheets Cut Size: 2570mm x 835mm The condition of the boards is clean, de-nailed, and straight. All sheets provided are the same size, eliminating the need to recalibrate machines. Each board requires only two cuts. Requirements: • Intermittent checking, to ensure uniform sizing; and • Ensure the workspace is left clean after the project. You will be provided: • A clean, safe and well-ventilated working environment; • Easily accessible board, located close to the saw; and • All necessary PPE.
