Looking for a carpenter or capable handyman to carry out a temporary repair to the timber roof of our pedal powered tavern bike. The roof edge was damaged in a collision and needs to be secured and reinforced so the structure is safe and weatherproof until a full insurance repair is completed. What needs doing: • Secure the damaged timber edge • Reinforce or brace the broken section • Reattach or temporarily secure the metal edge trim • Patch the roof edge if needed to prevent water ingress This does not need to be a perfect cosmetic repair, just structurally secure and safe for short term use. Details: • Located in a large shed in Arcadia • Plenty of working space • Power available • Roof height approx 2.6m • Photos attached Looking for someone who: • Is practical and experienced with timber repairs • Can bring tools and basic materials if required • Can complete the job fairly quickly Ideally hoping to get this done ASAP.
