The car is in good overall condition, tires, windshield, lights, shock absorbers, bushes etc. I need RWC as soon as possible as I have a buyer for it and need to transfer it. I am located in Prahran.

I have a 2008 Falcon EA-FG wagon with 300k on the clock that is not starting. Yesterday I went to start the car and it started making by metallic grinding/banging noise on my second or third time attempt and so stopped and called the RACV. The RACV guy says that it is either: a) The starter motor which can easily be replaced. b) The bendix or ring gear which is a bigger job. I need a mobile mechanic to come out and give me a second opinion. The task is to come and quickly pull out the starter motor and tell me what the actual issue is. If it's just the starter motor then there will be another task to replace it. If it's the bendix or ring gear then another task to fix this is you can. This is a friends car so I will need something in writing like an email or Air Tasker message to conform what's wrong. I have had RACV check out the car and the suggestive electrical in the steering column where the issue to my car lies as it will not start.. I have no idea what the cost of this job will be but airtask force me to put a budget do that is dependent on what needs to be done.. Ah no it’s not likely to be the ESL as the dash lights up the lights go on there is no sound but the steering column does unlock.. start diagnosing the once have the problem happy to negotiate the fix of the vehicle price

Day one of purchasing car, no coolant in resovoir once home. after a few drives and topped up coolant, noticed Air bubbles in coolant reservoir once at normal temp,produces white smoke, no milky oil, no coolant overboil, started to notice all these issues after driving car up steep hill, fully loaded and temp went above normal but didn't let it get to red. Deeply out of pocket, rego due in a month, any suggestions? Would just a head gasket help solve this issue? Is it something you'd take on?

Hello, A FORD Ba UTE (automatic) requires a new “Starter Motor” to be installed. I supply the new starter motor. You remove the old one and replace with supplies new one. Car is not driving and is parked in Prahran area. Access to vehicle from 10am tomorrow. Thanks
