Scope of work: • Approx. 160 lineal metres across bedrooms, dining, living areas, and hallways • Top joint only (between top edge of timber skirting and plasterboard walls) • Neatly tooled, straight, and flush ready for paint (no smears up the plasterboard) • Bathrooms and laundry are excluded • Skirting along stair steps excluded Materials & tools: • I will supply: Soudal Fill & Paint (White, 300ml cartridges) • Tasker to bring: Tools, caulking gun, joint tooling spatulas or profiles, buckets, and clean wiping sponges/rags, etc Site & access: • Driveway parking on site • Clear work area along the walls Please mention your painting or finishing experience and confirm what tools you use to tool the joint.

Hi there, I need a local handyman to carefully remove one single piece of timber skirting board located inside my kitchen's refrigerator alcove. This is a rental property, so it is critical that the board is removed cleanly in one piece without cracking the wood or damaging the adjacent mitered corner joint and drywall, as I will need to reinstate it when I move out. What needs to be done: Score the painted edges/mitered corner joint to break the paint bond. Carefully pry the single skirting board panel off the wall inside the alcove. Pull or flatten any remaining brad nails on the wall so the surface is smooth. Leave the removed timber piece intact for me to store. Tools required: Please bring your own utility knife, pry bar/trim puller and drywall protection materials. Located in Maroubra. Flexible with time, but looking to get this sorted as soon as possible.
