I am painting 2 x metal hand rails (side and back entry of our home) and need them sanded first. Both hand rails have surface rust and need a lot of elbow grease to get them smooth again. I sanded and painted our front porch hand rail which was the same condition and it come out great. I used sandpaper grit P60 which is really rough but it took all of the surface rust and flakey paint off. I sanded by hand because I don’t have any tools and also to get into the tight angles, but you’re welcome to approach it in any way you see best. Side hand rails - 2.7 metres long Back hand rail - 3.9 metres long Total 6.6 metres of hand rail to sand. Located in Bayswater North. Happy to pay $330 which is $50 a metre.

I will be purchasing a modular disabled access ramp balustrade from Handrail industries and I need someone to put it together. Ideally I need someone who has experience doing these balustrades.

Galvanised steel balustrade & we want to increase the height. Today approx 900mm high & increase to 1050mm approx. Length approx 11m x 1.40m x 1.40m - C shape. Prefer to keep current balustrade & add to it rather than replace. Current balustrade attached to brick house & screwed to existing decking. We need someone to finish stripping terracotta paint off our concrete porch. As you can see from the provided photos, a majority of the paint has been removed, but details such as in-between balustrades, the front steps and the front door step still need to be done, as well as scraping off any remaining patches. The porch is 2870mm wide by 1700mm deep (not including the two front steps in these measurements). Additionally, we have eight white balustrades and the top rail that will also need to be stripped. These were painted before we moved in here and look terrible. We have very few tools/remaining paint stripper for use, so the painter will need to provide any supplies they think they will need for this job.

Looking for a skilled tradesperson to create and install a new handrail and balustrade for a small internal stairway. The stairway has three steps up to a 1m x 1m landing area. Looking for compliant stairs using Australian Standards. Would like to use light wooden posts and rails. Looking to seal the timber too.
