Find a reliable appliance technician in Beaumont SA

Summary Description: Looking for an appliance repair technician or an experienced handyman to fix and re-align a misaligned refrigerator door at a property in Beaumont (5066). The main door has sagged/shifted out of alignment, causing it to unevenly seal against the fridge body. It needs to be physically adjusted at the hinges so it sits perfectly square, closes cleanly, and creates a proper airtight magnetic seal. Scope of Work Required: 1. Hinge Adjustment: Loosen, reposition, and securely retighten the top, middle, or bottom door hinges to restore perfect horizontal and vertical alignment. 2. Spacer/Washer Check: Inspect the existing hinge pins to see if plastic spacer washers are worn down or missing, and replace/add shim washers if necessary to lift the sagging door. 3. Gasket & Seal Verification: Ensure that once aligned, the magnetic door gasket seals tightly against the frame all the way around with no visible gaps or air leaks. 4. Levelling Check: Briefly check the front leveling legs of the fridge to ensure the unit itself is tilted slightly backward according to manufacturer standards (helping the door swing shut naturally). More Details: Property Type: Residential house. Tools Required: Please bring standard metric socket sets, hex/allen keys, screwdrivers, and any potential nylon hinge shim washers if needed. Location: Beaumont, 5066. Easy street or driveway parking available.
