This occurred while power was running to the machine so we know that the power is going to the machine and the machine is working. Fisher & Paykel E522B fridge. The fridge compartment previously lost cooling and the red temperature alarm began flashing/beeping when the door opens. After a full 24-hour manual defrost, the fridge is now over-cooling and freezing items, but the red alarm still flashes every time the door is opened. The freezer section has remained normal and both compressor and fan appear to run. It seems likely the fridge temperature sensor/thermistor or related control component needs replacement. Looking to diagnose and repair.
