I have a 7ft slate pool table that needs refelting & new rubbers etc.

Hi, I'm looking for someone experienced with carpentry/furniture repairs to replace the long black wooden support beams underneath my pool table. The existing wooden supports broke/pulled away when the table was moved. I've replaced the screws and temporarily secured it, but I want a strong permanent solution rather than repairing the existing boards. I'd like: - Thicker, stronger structural timber fitted instead - Timber cut to the correct size - Properly secured/bolted to the existing frame and legs - The finished table to be very sturdy and safe to move I'd prefer the person completing the job to supply the timber and necessary bolts/ fixings. I'm not looking for a pretty aesthetic job, I just want to play pool. Photos attached showing the table and existing supports.

What’s already done: • Slate has been installed, joined, levelled, and silicon sealed • Table base and structure are complete What we need help with: • Stretching and stapling felt/clothing to the slate (underside staple method) • Ensuring felt is evenly tensioned with no ripples or sagging • Trimming excess felt cleanly • Installing top rails/edges • Attaching pockets and net pockets securely Requirements: • Prior experience with pool table assembly or similar upholstery/stretching work • Must bring own staple gun and any necessary tools • Strong attention to detail — finish quality matters • Ability to align rails and pockets correctly Set budget low as not sure what market price is worth
