Washing machine not working

I have a Bosch 9kg Serie 6 Front Load Washing Machine (WAP28482AU) I am getting an E18 error message - drainage issue. I have tried to open the pump filter cap but can’t get it open. It seems like there is a blockage there that is preventing the cap from opening. Looking for someone that is an experienced technician and can help resolve this issue. Thanks!

I have a fisher & paykel front load washing machine. About 5 years old. Product number 93254 Model number is WH8560P2 It keeps getting an error message saying “CLr FLtr” I have cleaned the filter at the front of the machine (nothing in there) and removed the draining hose at the back to check for any blockage (no blockage). My assumption to the drain pump is broken. Can someone help to fix this drainage problem (and replace the pump if needed). I have not purchased any spare parts.
