My Esatto top loader washing machine isn’t washing my clothes. The drum fills up, but the agitator on the bottom lifts up mid-cycle and floats to the top. I have tightened it with a screwdriver multiple times but it keeps unscrewing. The washing machine CAN complete a spin cycle/drain water, but won’t spin during the “wash” cycle. Meaning the clothes are effectively floating in water. The belt is in tact and unworn, the pipes are clear and draining. The filter appears ok from what I can tell. Price is to inspect the machine/identify the fault and tell me if it’s worth fixing or I need to replace the machine. If it is worth fixing, a quote for repair can then be negotiated. The machine is only max 3 years old.

We just got a new washing machine. Unfortunately I am not home as I am unwell in hospital. My wife is unsure how to fit the pipes to the taps and the washing machine without it leaking. And to ensure we fit the right temp (hot with hot) (cold with cold). All the parts came with the machine.
