My microwave has started sparking/arcing from the heating element/bracket area at the top of the cooking cavity. There is visible scorching/burn/arc marking around the bracket/screw, suggesting this may have been happening repeatedly. I'm looking for an experienced microwave/appliance technician to: Diagnose the cause of the arcing Inspect the heating element, bracket/screw and surrounding cavity Check for a damaged waveguide/mica cover or other relevant component Replace the faulty/damaged part if required Confirm the microwave is safe to operate after the repair Important: I have stopped using the microwave and will not remove the outer casing myself. I need a handy person to help install a new rangehood vent on an exterior brick wall. The existing round hole is a bit too small for the new vent’s spigot, so you’ll need to carefully enlarge the brick opening (just a few millimetres). I’ve already removed the old vent and have the new vent, wall plugs and screws ready to go. The job involves: * Enlarging the existing circular hole in the brickwork so the new vent fits snugly * Sliding the vent’s spigot into the duct and securing the duct * Mounting the vent flange to the wall using masonry screws and plugs * Sealing the duct connection with foil tape and finishing with exterior silicone for a weather‑tight seal * Cleaning up afterwards Materials: I will provide the vent, plugs and screws; please bring foil tape and any tools needed to enlarge the hole (e.g. masonry drill, chisel, grinder) and finish the job. Experience with brickwork and vent installations preferred.

I need an experienced installer to remove an existing integrated dishwasher and install a new Bosch fully integrated dishwasher. The current dishwasher (ASKO) was poorly installed and appears to have been forced into the cavity, causing damage to the cabinet panel and adjacent cupboard. The original dishwasher (Miele) previously fit correctly, so the space should work with proper alignment. ⚠️ This is not a standard swap job. Scope of work: * Carefully remove existing integrated dishwasher (tight fit) * Install new Bosch fully integrated dishwasher (already delivered) * Attach and align existing cabinet door panel * Level and centre appliance properly * Ensure even spacing on both sides * Ensure door opens fully without rubbing cabinet * Do NOT force unit into cavity ⸻ Important (corner installation): This is a corner position, so door clearance and spacing are critical. A small adjustment (e.g. 10–15mm filler strip or repositioning) may be required to allow proper fit. ⸻ Looking for someone who: * Has experience with integrated dishwashers (not just freestanding) * Understands cabinet alignment and spacing * Is comfortable making minor cabinetry adjustments if needed Please confirm your experience with integrated installs when quoting.

To disconnect gas from old wahing machine. Must have plumber license.

Washing machine is very noisy. We have checked the rubber seal and the filter as well with no obvious cause. Person attending would need to have access to materials in the event something is required for the washing machine.
