Westinghouse dryer, was working fine using water compartment, now water is leaking from under the machine instead. Need someone to install the drainage hose as I can't figure it where it attaches

I just got given a Miele Dryer T1 Classic & I’ve cleaned out all the filters & it’s not seeming to work. It turns on & shuts off after 1 min. We are looking for someone with experience to help stack our dryer on top of our washing machine. The space is tight (see photos) but we have measured the dryer and it will fit. We do not have a stacking kit and/or rubber mat. You may also need to create a larger hole in the wood for where the electrical cords and washing machine hoses go - I am unsure if the extra cord for the dryer will fit through.
