I've just cracked the ceramic cooktop. I have ordered one to arrive tomorrow (Saturday). I'd like the new one installed and the existing one taken out. I can dispose of it.

One of the burners on my gas cooktop is continuously making a ticking noise and sparking (even when not in use). I’ve disassembled the cooktop to clean it, but the issue is still happening. It looks like the igniter is misfiring or stuck.
