I've just had a new induction cooktop installed to replace an old gas cooktop, and the existing cutout in the stone benchtop is about 5mm too tight on one side. I need a stonemason (or anyone properly set up for on-site stone cutting) to trim that edge so the new cooktop drops in. I'm not certain whether the benchtop is engineered stone or natural stone - happy to send photos so you can tell me before you commit. Flexible on the time.I know this is a small job, so I'm happy to fit in around your other work - early, late, weekends, or as a filler between bigger jobs in my area. Just tell me what suits.

Licensed Gasfitter – Install Gas Line, Connect Commercial Oven / Cooktop + LPG Bottle Setup (Waterloo) We need a licensed gas plumber/gasfitter to complete a small commercial kitchen installation. Scope of work: Run a new LPG gas line from the kitchen through the rear storage area and out to the backyard (approx. 6–8 m). Install an external gas connection point on the back wall for two × 45 kg LPG bottles (supplied by gas company). Connect the following appliances: • Cobra CR6DF 4-burner gas cooktop and oven Install a gas manifold with individual isolation valves (gas taps) so additional appliances can be added later. Supply and fit all regulators, valves, quick-connect fittings, and stainless flex hoses. Pressure test, tag, and certify all appliances and the installation to AS/NZS 5601. Access: Easy access to rear yard and clear workspace inside. All appliances are on-site and ready for connection. Requirements: Must be a licensed gasfitter (please include licence number in your quote). Must provide a Gas Compliance Certificate on completion. Timing: Flexible – ready to start as soon as you’re available. Budget: $1,500 (estimate only) Please quote including labour + materials, regulators, fittings, certification, and all necessary parts for a dual-bottle LPG setup and 3-appliance manifold. We’re happy to adjust the budget once you’ve inspected or confirmed the exact scope.
Geoff did an excellent job installing our new gas line and connecting all the café equipment. He was punctual, professional, and clearly knows his trade. Everything was installed neatly, tested, and certified — works perfectly. Great communication throughout and easy to deal with. Highly recommended for any commercial gas work.
