Unpacking and inspection of your new electric under bench oven to verify all parts are accounted for. 2. Safe disconnection of existing electric oven 3. Connection of new electric under bench oven to existing power supply 4. Levelling of the appliance. 5. Installation of manufacturer-supplied safety hardware. 6. Functionality testing to ensure correct operation 7. Tidying of work area and removal of packaging. 8. Removal of old oven. 9. Provision of certificate of compliance after job is done.

RANGEHOOD PLAN ✔ Crossray 90 cm alfresco BBQ hood https://www.harveynorman.com.au ✔ Mount 750–850 mm above BBQ ✔ Duct vertically then out right-hand side wall (Installation method) ✔ 150 mm rigid metal duct (aluminium / galvanised) https://www.fansonline.com.au ✔ 150 mm weatherproof external wall vent (with flap + mesh) https://www.fansonline.com.au INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – BBQ RANGEHOOD EXTERNAL DUCT 1. Hood Mounting Height Fix the rangehood 750–900 mm above BBQ cooking surface. Ensure hood is level and anchored into studs or brick. 2. Ducting Materials Use 150 mm rigid galvanized steel or semi-rigid aluminium duct. Avoid thin foil or flexible plastic duct — poor airflow and fire risk. 3. Duct Path Run duct vertically up from the hood outlet, then directly to the external side wall. Minimise turns — one 45° or 90° bend max if needed. Keep total duct run as short and straight as possible. 4. Wall Penetration Core-drill or cut a 160–170 mm hole through brick/wall. Angle duct slightly downward toward outside to prevent condensation running back. 5. External Vent Installation Select a 150 mm external vent (e.g., stainless or weatherproof hood). Mount vent clear of other pipes or fixtures and at least: 600 mm from doors/windows 300 mm below eaves Seal all around the vent with exterior silicone to weatherproof. 6. Backdraft & Mesh Ensure the external vent has backdraft protection (gravity flap or mesh). Check mesh covers openings to stop insects/rodents. 7. Sealing & Insulation Use HVAC aluminium tape on all duct joints. No ducting should vent into ceiling cavities. 8. Power & Safety Confirm the rangehood is powered with a dedicated, weatherproof outlet or hard-wired by a licensed electrician. Test airflow after installation — smoke/test paper should move out of vent cleanly.

Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced with appliance repairs or minor electrical work to help fix a few cables using a soldering iron on a small household appliance. A couple of the electrical wires need repairing, replacement or reconnecting with soldering iron. The appliances are otherwise working well, but the wires may need fixing or replacing.
