I am in the process of purchasing an electric fire place - Rinnai ES 1800 1.8KW Electric fireplace. I am currently look for quotes on installation which will also include setting up an electric power point for the fire place ( I can find someone separately if required). The installation would be similar to the picture attached the only difference being that the upper wall will not be that long i.e. will not go to the ceiling but rather similar to the bottom part. Under cupboard rangehood needs a ducting installed to connect it to send air outside It is a simple flat tin roof Task Supply ducting, flue, roof mount fittings and sealants. Everything needed Kit $200 from bunnings. Install from rangehood. Cut shelf and top of cupboard for ducting to pass through. Cut ceiling (gyprock) and colour bond roof to feed ducting through. Install roof mount vent with waterproofing and protection needed. Install a cover around visible ducting above cupboard. Something simple. Matt White colour.
