I have a standard internal hollow core door that needs to be slightly cut down to fit in an existing doorway. It needs a door handle to be cut and installed into it as well. I already have the door, and the lever handle that is brand new and in packaging still.

My front door handles keep coming off, it seems like the screws are not sitting nicely in the wood or something, this is my 3rd try via airtasker to get it fix. If anyone has deep knowledge on how to fix it please help

My door handle the nails have no place to sit, and everytime I screw them in they just fall out cause it seems to be hollow ? Or there’s no place for the nails to anchor
