We are refurbishing our commercial office/training centre in Winlaton, Gateshead and are looking for an experienced decorator/wallpaper hanger to complete wallpapering across several areas. The wallpaper will be supplied by us. We are looking for someone who can achieve a high-quality professional finish, particularly around doorways, corners, sockets and other fittings. Areas to be wallpapered: * Corridors, reception and lobby areas: approx. 49.8 linear metres of wall * Meeting/board room: approx. 10.8 linear metres * Office: approx. 15.1 linear metres * Total: approx. 75.7 linear metres of wall * Ceiling height is approximately 2.4m * Gross wall area approximately 182m² before allowing for doors/openings There are multiple doorways and smaller wall sections throughout the corridors. We are using several different wallpapers depending on the area, including textured wallpaper and a marble-effect wallpaper. All wallpaper will be supplied.

Hi there, I need help stripping wallpaper from my hallway, landing and toilet. The landing/stairs has a double height so I’ll recommend that you have the correct equipment and are experienced for safety reasons. I’ve started quite a bit of it myself but as you’ll see in the pictures, am in need of help! As for the toilet, there’s a sticky, glue-like texture behind the wallpaper which I assume is moisture-proof. I have a steamer you can use if you’re happy to sign something to replace if you damage it. I also have a wallpaper scraper and other bits.
