We need a 65” Samsung TV and a 15kg soundbar mounted on the wall, with all cables hidden. Power is already available in a cabinet below. We previously had a TV and soundbar mounted in this spot, but both are being replaced with new ones. The existing TV wall mount can be reused, but the old cables can’t, new power/HDMI/etc cables will be needed. This is a new-build house with dot-and-dab plasterboard. On the previous install, holes were cut in the plasterboard and the cables were pushed up behind it, then plastered over. There isn’t enough space behind the plasterboard to easily run new cables the same way, so this will likely involve cutting new access holes and making good afterwards to get a clean finish. You’ll need to be comfortable working with dot-and-dab walls, hiding cables properly, and mounting heavier TVs/soundbars securely. Please bring your own tools. I have all the required cables. I’ve added photos showing how it currently looks (without the TV) and the final result we’re aiming for. Weekday or weekend is fine.
