I have a dress that I cut into a skirt, but I cut it below the original waistband seam, so it now needs some work to make it wearable. I need someone to create a new waistband so the skirt fits my size, add elastic (or another suitable method) to secure the waist comfortably, and finish or hem the raw edge so it looks neat and won’t fray. I still have the cut‑off piece of fabric if that helps. I don’t have a sewing machine or elastic, so you would need to bring tools and supplies or let me know what to buy. I’d like the finished waistband to be stretchy and comfortable.
