Winkhaus AutoPilot top scissor hinge on my UPVC window seems broken and most likely requires replacement. The hinge mechanism has failed, affecting the window’s opening and closing and tilting operation. Please send your bids! Thank you.

Broken lock / window handle

I have a white pvc window but it doesn’t match the other in the house so I want to stick a white pvc strip across the middle (on the inside and outside). Fine to stick it on, but it needs to match up to the frame as much as possible. See photos - show bottom window which we want to change and top window with horizontal strut in the middle.

One uPVC window in my house is stuck shut. Moving the handle no longer opens the locking mechanism.

One of my uPVC windows is stuck closed. When turning the handle, one of the bottom locking pins (cams) does not retract back into the frame, so the window won’t open. Looking for someone experienced with uPVC window mechanisms to: • unlock the window • adjust or repair the locking mechanism The window worked fine before and likely just needs realignment or small repair (not full replacement). Please bring your own tools.

Replace hinge on top opener upvc window

We are looking for someone to come and put up a vinyl window sticker in the front window of our Mayfair gallery. The sticker is approximately 1m by 1.5m and needs to be stuck seamlessly, with no bubbles or creases.

I need to replace one wood window in our flat on the third floor of our building, east London, with a pvc equivalent, ie. something as close as possible in design and look. Please find attached the picture of the window to replace with its measures (100cm x 135 cm). I need ideally the job done without having to install a scaffold.

A upvc tilt and turn window would not close and needs tightening up. Possible lock or alignment issues.

Service of a uPVC windows with a difficult to open handle, might need to replace it, work on the hinges etc

We have three uPVC windows that aren’t closing properly. One just doesn’t close fully, and I can’t work out what’s jamming it. The other has a latch that seems to have come loose? On the third, the handle on one has broken, so we’ve taken it out. I ordered new handles but the spindle was too long - it almost looks like someone DIY’ed a shorter one to fit previously? I would like to find someone who can advise me about which handle to order, then once it arrives can come and put the new handle in and fix the other window latches/hinges. It is possible the previous owner did a little DIY work on the handle. Thinking it should be pretty simple for anyone who knows what they are doing, but I am happy to discuss the quote in more detail later, if it is more complicated than expected.
