external smart screen fitted about 2 years ago on my vauhall corsa club 2009 but stopped working the screen completely and reverse cam function i believe its the cable inside that need re wiring / fitting is what the issue is before it went out was blinkering and interference on the screen then stopped completely

I have a 1993 Talbot Express camper with the 2.0L petrol engine and Solex 34 PBISA 16 carburettor, and I'm looking for someone experienced with older carburetted engines to diagnose a running problem and properly set up the carburettor. The van has developed an intermittent cutting-out problem. It can run normally for quite some time, but then begins to hesitate and cut out. Pulling the choke out slightly seems to help, although it doesn't always prevent it from stalling. A garage recently replaced the mechanical fuel pump and cleaned the carburettor, but the cutting out remains. Since their work, there is also a noticeable hesitation/lag when accelerating. I've done some basic investigation. Fuel is reaching the carburettor and the idle cut-off solenoid is operating, but I haven't been able to see any fuel discharge from the accelerator pump when opening the throttle with the engine off, despite testing immediately after the engine has been running. Would you be able to diagnose the cutting-out problem, check/repair and tune the Solex carburettor, and rule out fuel-supply or ignition issues if necessary? I'm based in Bow, East London. The van is a high-top short-wheelbase camper and currently can't drive longer distances.

I have a 2020 Ford Transit camper van with a kitchen sink that needs urgent plumbing work. The waste outlet assembly has cracked and is leaking, and I have a complete replacement kit ready to go. What needs doing: 1) Remove the old sink waste outlet assembly — The current outlet is cracked and leaking. This needs to be fully removed from the sink. 2) Install the new waste outlet kit — I have a complete replacement waste outlet assembly with all components (photos provided). This needs to be installed to replace the old one. 3) Handle the overflow pipe — The new outlet includes an overflow pipe attachment. However, the sink's overflow is located behind the water tank and is very difficult/practically impossible to access for connection (see photos). Please assess on-site: If the overflow can be connected, do so. If not (which is likely), you'll need to cap/block off the overflow pipe so water doesn't leak out if the sink overflows. I don't have a blanking cap. If you need one, let me know the size and I'll grab one before you arrive. Alternatively, if you think a different outlet kit would work better for this setup (one without an inaccessible overflow), I'm happy to swap it out — just advise what you think I should get. 4) Replace the flexible waste hose — The main flexible waste pipe is damaged and needs replacing with a new flexible waste hose (40mm, matching the kit). 5) Re-seal all connections — Once installed, all connections need to be sealed with fresh waterproof/marine-grade silicone sealant. I have UniBond Bath & Kitchen on hand (expired 2023, so fresh is better). 6) Test the system — Run water through to confirm there are no leaks before I leave. Timeline: I'm leaving on Monday at midday, so this would need to be done before then.
