My fire alarm keeps beeping every 20 seconds. It started doing this months ago, but I usually could hold the main button down for 15 seconds and the beeping would stop. Now, it doesn't work and beeping goes on regardless. The alarm is wired in and seems to be connected centrally to the flat building, and I have tried so many ways of opening it to change the backup battery but it looks like you need tools to do it. There's no indication of model at all so I can't find a manual for it online. Dont know if battery is low or whole alarm system has expired

Hi there We need to install 8 hardwired RF smokes alarms to replace an existing battery operated RF system. We will be using the existing Aico alarm controller (already in place), and 1 existing battery opertated RF alarm, but we will be replacing 8 other interlinked units. The new units will need to be hardwired in and the wiring chased into the wall for atleast 3 if the units to avoid trunking. They will be located in bedrooms, kitchen and hallway. We have purchased the units ourselves, so ideally just need a price for installation (to include chasing some cables into the wall) fitting and setting up (house coding) the sytem. Please only respond if you are a qualified electrician and can provide certification for the fire alarm installation. Grade D1.
