This is a manual "shovelling and wheelbarrowing" job involving moving a large volume of material from the front driveway to the back garden. The Task: • Move 17 Tons of Recycled Type 1 (Crushed Concrete): Manually shovelling into a wheelbarrow and moving it to the back garden. • Move 1.6 Tons of Sand: To be moved and spread once the stone base is finished. • Access: 1-meter wide side access (end of terrace). You will be moving the wheelbarrow along this path. • Tools: Spade and wheelbarrow provided. • My Role: I will be on-site managing the project, compacting the layers with a wacker plate, and installing the membrane. We tried ourselves but the ground was too hard with the tools we have. Not sure whether it's just hard soil, clay or something more solid. Assuming it can be done just with the anchors, but can pay a bit more if concrete is required/a more secure option!
