I’m looking for someone experienced who can drill into an RSJ lintel above my French doors and front door, then fit a small piece of wood securely in place so I can attach curtain poles later. I’ve tried myself but my drill won’t go through the lintel, so I’ll need someone with the right tools and know-how to get it done properly. I’ll provide the materials — just need the labour. There’s also a possible second job available: boxing in around my fireplace. If you’re able to take a look while you’re here, that would be great. I’m based in Swadlincote and can pay cash. Please let me know your availability and an idea of cost.

My delicacy pulled my curtain rod down! He was able to get into my bedroom and do this because the Victorian door handle came loose and fell off. I have guests coming to stay on Monday too. It would be great if someone could come and fix this very soon. I am at a funeral wake tomorrow from 3.30 pm- 6pm tho but any time today ( Fri 3rd), Saturday morning, Sunday all day or Monday morning would suit. But preferably today.
Adrian was punctual, friendly and did a really thorough job! I will definitely hire him again.
