The air conditioning in my VW Golf does not work. The error on the diagnostic reads as follows “Function restriction caused by compressor shut-off by engine” it’s an electrical problem

I tried to install a SpeedBox but I’ve run into an issue and I don’t want to make it worse. One of the engine cover screws won’t come out anymore — it just spins without loosening, as if it’s not catching. Would you be able to help me remove it safely and install the SpeedBox properly? I realise some places don’t like working on these, but I’d really appreciate any help if you’re able to take a look. Thanks, Dan
