I have two large sofas to dispose of both in clean condition. The 2-seat is H92 x W170 x D111 cm, the 3-seat is H92 x W216 x D111 cm. They are currently on the ground floor of a house with level access via a driveway with turning space.

Job starts at 8.30 and should be over by 11am-12pm. We have a truck with a lift and there will be a trolley for moving stuff. No big furniture, many boxes, 3 disassembled wooden beds so all planks basically, 2 disassembled small wardrobes, chest of drawers, etc, there will be other people helping and by midday max it should be all done and dusted. I’m looking for one strong, careful person to work alongside me rearranging some items in my storage unit at Britannia Beckwith in Newhaven, so that I can retrieve belongings that are currently difficult to access. The job will involve moving and temporarily shifting boxes and some pieces of furniture within the unit, helping me search for and retrieve the things I need, and then restacking everything securely afterwards. I’ll be lifting, carrying and shifting things too, so we’ll be working through the unit together. I’m not certain where everything I need is packed, so there will be an element of working our way through the unit to find it. This is not a full clearance or removals job, and no van or transport is required. I’m allowing up to three hours, although we may well finish sooner. The full £90 fee will apply even if the job takes less than three hours. Some of the boxes and furniture may be heavy, so you’ll need to be comfortable lifting and moving bulky items. Care is important too, as these are stored household and personal belongings. Ideally I’m looking for someone reliable, practical and happy to work methodically with me as we search through the unit and safely restack things afterwards.

I am moving items of furniture and boxes from my ground floor flat into a storage unit in Brighton. The storage facility is providing a removals van with a driver and one other but they've been very clear about providing minimal help. They require me to have two additional helpers to load and unload. The storage unit is on the first floor of the facility but accessible via a lift. There is about a twenty minute drive between my flat and the facility, I can provide transport. The removals slot is between 9:30 and 10:30am on June the 24th. The volume of stuff to move fits into a 75sqft unit. The heaviest item being a recliner armchair. Remove all items that are not appliances, tools or tool accessories. Clean shed and ceiling area removing trash and spider webs etc. Will pay additional for deep clean services if an option I’ve recently set off a bug bomb to help with any smaller bugs within the shed. Any extra items in shed like the new filing cabinet and non tool/appliances will need to be taken away and not left in shed.
