RATE OFFERED IS HOURLY Assistant programmer needed to work on code development, to meet playable demo deadline. Possibility of staying on for the next 6-7 weeks depending on results. Current students, recent graduates, and individuals working in industry all welcome. Must have skills: - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in C# and Unity Engine 6 (6000.1.XXX or later), both 2D and 3D formats - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of code design patterns, particularly singleton and observer - Intermediate to advanced proficiency and knowledge in version control interfaces like Fork, SourceTree etc - Ability to work collaboratively in real time - Flexible availability - Professional reference(s) to confirm identity/qualifications/character before being granted access to project source code - this can be in the form of current employment contract/current enrollment etc Preferences for task: - Same time zone, GMT +10/AEST Brisbane - Verified Discord account for remote collaboration - Existing GitHub account with proof of prior collaboration/contributions to projects The task: - Assist in debugging existing errors in singleton persistence - Assist in integrating prototype features created in sterile projects into main project - Review existing code to find weakness and suggest possible refactors to improve overhead performance - Take some work off my plate for a few hours before I drop dead from exhaustion. Ideally you will be working remotely in VC at the same time as me, for ease of tracking hours PAY WILL BE HOURLY - pay rate is being funded by my team, if the offered amount doesn’t meet your requirements please feel free to offer your own rate.
