I need an experienced electronics technician to replace one IGBT (TO-220 package) on a fridge inverter PCB. The board powers a variable-speed compressor (Embraco system). Details: • Board is already removed from the fridge • 6 IGBTs in total — one is visibly damaged and needs replacement • I have a compatible replacement part (STGF10NB60SD or similar) • You’ll need to desolder the faulty IGBT and install the new one, ensuring good thermal contact with the heatsink • Work can be done on-site or I can drop the board to you in Brisbane and surrounds What you need: • Experience with PCB-level repairs • Soldering station with fine tip • Thermal paste and M3 screw if needed (to reattach to heatsink) Test the other IGBTs or verify the board afterwards.

I have a Midi freestanding wood heater that likely needs servicing. When I tried to light the firewood, I noticed that the smoke wasn’t drawing up properly.
