Hi, I’m looking for an experienced concreter to cut out and replace a section of cracked/uneven driveway concrete, and remove + reinstall my sliding gate rail so the gate runs straight and smoothly. Location - Footscray Front driveway – easy access Small truck / trailer access available Job details Remove existing damaged concrete where the sliding gate rail runs Concrete is cracked and uneven and needs to be cut out + replaced Reinstall existing sliding gate rail straight + level so the gate slides freely Approx area Roughly 5m x 4m (tradie to inspect/measure and quote accordingly) Concrete depth to be suitable for driveway traffic What needs to be done Saw cut / break out existing concrete Excavate and remove spoil Install road base + compact properly Set levels / falls to match existing driveway Formwork as required Pour new concrete and finish neatly Reinstate sliding gate rail aligned and securely fixed into new concrete Gate must slide freely with no binding Rubble/spoil removal + disposal included Leave site clean and tidy Concrete finish Plain grey concrete Broom finish (non-slip) Neat join to existing concrete (saw cut edges preferred) Rail Existing rail to be removed + refitted If rail is damaged, please quote an optional replacement as well Quote options Please provide pricing for: Labour only (I supply materials), and Supply + install (you supply everything) Timing ASAP – flexible with dates Photos attached. I need an existing screen door taken down and a new screen door installed (back entry of house). I can supply the screen door and hinges. The door stop will also need replacement and adjustment as the existing door in its current state does not seamlessly close and there are gaps where insects find their way in. I will need the tradesman to supply the door stop. There are also parts of the door jamb that would need filling in as there are holes where previous locks were. The door is a standard size door. I don’t need any painting as part of this job.
