Looking for someone to install laminate flooring in a loft bedroom (approx 6m x 4m, ~24m², its smaller than that). - Labour only - Room narrows then expands - Includes underlay + laminate install - Room will be fully cleared before work starts - Subfloor is flat and ready, no prep required Straightforward job for someone experienced. Custom Architrave Installation Around Mirror (Doorway Illusion) I’m looking for a skilled carpenter/handyman to create and install a custom architrave surround around a full-length mirror. The aim is to make the mirror look like a doorway, so the finish needs to be spot on. What needs doing: Build a 4-step architrave to match existing door surrounds (not seen anything so far with this exact profile off-the-shelf – so will probably need to be custom made) Install the architrave around the mirror so it aligns perfectly with existing door frames Cut down and fit sections of existing skirting board either side of the mirror to complete the illusion Paint the architrave (paint provided) Important: The new architrave must exactly match the existing profiles in the flat I can provide a sample piece of the current architrave to copy (this will need to be carefully reinstalled) Attention to detail is critical – this needs to look like an original feature, not an add-on Ideal person: Experienced in finish carpentry or joinery Confident in replicating existing mouldings/profiles Takes pride in precision work
