We’re an e-commerce business specialising in outdoor kids’ play and outdoor living products. The spring / summer and especially the lead-up to Christmas is our busiest time, and we’re looking for an experienced customer service / sales professional to support us in a temporary part-time role until Jan / Feb (with the possibility of ongoing work). You'll need to be a quick learner, ideally have experience in a similar customer service role, be comfortable on the phone and confident using online tools to help with customer service, order processing etc. Hours: 12–20 hrs p/w – to be discussed depending on your availability / skill set Working Times: Flexible but between 9am–5pm Mon–Fri (can fit into school hours if you have children) Initial Task: Trial Week Only Location: Remote WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: - Manage email enquiries - Answer inbound customer calls & return voicemails - Manage and track orders using our ecommerce software - Handle pre-sale enquiries and follow up with potential customers by phone / email (including taking orders by phone) - Respond to emails and live chat enquiries - Assist with returns, complaints, and issue resolution - Provide excellent sales and service support throughout the busy season WHAT YOU’LL NEED: - Previous customer service experience – ideally in a similar role Clear, friendly phone manner - Strong computer and problem-solving skills - Reliable and able to work independently - Ecommerce experience – not essential but great if you have it (we run on Shopify so if you have Shopify experience that's even better!) - Quiet workspace with reliable internet - Your own ABN ABOUT THIS TASK - Trial Week - This initial task is for a 1 week trial (15 hrs) p/w ABOUT: The Best Backyard is Australia's leading outdoor kids play and outdoor living retailer

I am starting a business that acts as a business development department for local operators (trades, cleaners, pest control landscapers).
