I’m looking for an experienced handyman or blind installer to complete an all-in-one job for my flat. Scope of work: • Remove existing vertical blinds from 2 windows • Measure windows accurately for new roller blinds (inside recess fit) • Recommend suitable good quality roller blinds (simple white, minimal style) • Purchase or advise on purchase of correct blinds • Install roller blinds neatly inside the window recess • Ensure a clean, professional finish • Dispose of old blinds if possible Details: • Windows have a standard recess • I already have white roller blinds on the doors, so I want the windows to match • Preference is for light-filtering white roller blinds (not blackout, not patterned) • Good quality expected (John Lewis / Dunelm / Blinds2Go level or similar) • I would prefer one person to manage the whole process as I am not confident measuring correctly myself Please provide: • Labour cost separately from cost of blinds • Estimated price range for suitable blinds • Confirmation you have experience fitting roller blinds • Whether you can supply the blinds or prefer me to purchase after measuring Location: Elephant & Castle Timing: Flexible within next 1–2 weeks Budget guide: Expecting approximately £80–£140 labour plus cost of blinds (£35–£70 each), but open to reasonable quotes.
