after the initial install of windows 11 i’m getting a secure boot violation. it gets to 100% then upon restart it gives me this error in bios and even if i mess around and force it to boot onto my SSD i get error code 0xc0000428 and the next OOBE steps cannot be completed. the windows installation cannot be completed therefore i’m not able to setup my pc. CSM is disabled, ASP fTPM is enabled and secure boot is enabled

For the past year or so, the LG Gram (pretty sure this is the model https://www.lg.com/au/laptops/gram/16z90p-g-aa75a/) has had issues with sound input. Whether I'm using the internal mic, a wired headset, Bluetooth connection, or a wireless headset with a dongle, it experiences the same issues of cutting out several times a sentence (sometimes several times a word), or occasionally sounds robotic as syllables stretch out in a monotone. I have more summaries of the issues and tests if needed. Annoyingly, the issues do not happen every day, but recur from time to time. It happens roughly half the time, and is inconvenient enough that I just don't use my laptop for video calls (which is one of the main reasons I got it, because I make several every week for work.) I am worried that the day it is being looked at it will be working perfectly fine, but might have trouble the next day. Or solutions that seem to fix it might stop working the next day. Reinstalling Windows seems to fix it for a few weeks or months, but this is very inconvenient and not a good long-term solution.

I have a nice PC that’s unfortunately not up to spec for Windows 11. I have a GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 motherboard with an Intel core i7 6700K CPU which is (crazily) no good for Windows 11. I need a quotation to upgrade the system minimally (ie only the motherboard and CPU if possible and hopefully no need to reformat the system and reload all the software etc. I can bring the box to your shop etc. The budget is not in any way meaningful but you have to put a number.
