Scope of work: • Install 1 recessed media box behind the TV inside the wall cavity • Provide power access inside the media box (either by relocating power professionally or installing compliant conduit/ducting from the existing outlet below) • Install HDMI/data pass-through inside the wall • Install a second wall opening/plate near the TV unit below so cables can run neatly from the TV to the cabinet Important: • I want this done properly and professionally (no loose power cables running inside the wall). • Ideally done by someone with experience installing TV media boxes or wall cable management systems. • If electrical work is required, a licensed electrician is preferred. Materials: • I’m happy to purchase the recessed media box and wall plates myself, or • If you have better or cheaper options, I’m happy to use those. House details: • Standard plasterboard wall • Two-storey house • Existing power outlet located below where the TV will be Goal: A clean installation with no visible cables and no protrusions, allowing the TV to sit fully flush against the wall. Construct basketball hoop from box as per instructions. Manual suggests that it can take up to 3 hours. I am happy to assist with the build when two people are required during assembly. Experience doing this in the past preferred. Requires some tools for assembly including a drill, spanners, rubber mallet etc.
