Hi there,😀 We’re looking for a licensed electrician to complete some work in our apartment in Labrador. Scope of work: Visit 1: • Disconnect existing electric cooktop (junction box accessible in cupboard below) • Install 3 ceiling light fittings (existing wiring points) Visit 2: • Reconnect cooktop once new benchtop is installed • Install bathroom ceiling light fitting (fitting will be supplied) Other items: • Replace one switch plate in the living room (currently fan/light combo switching, changing to light only) • Install two hardwired smoke alarms (alarms supplied) Optional (please quote separately if possible): • Install bathroom wall sconce – wiring location is approximately 30cm from an existing GPO on the same wall. This will need to be completed over two visits due to the benchtop installation timing. The apartment is ground level, has easy access with parking available. Light fittings and smoke alarms will be supplied. Budget listed as a guide – happy to consider quotes from licensed electricians. Please include licence number when responding. Thanks 🙂 Gina

Hi, I am looking for a professional to clean and bird-proof the solar panels on my two-storey house in Schofields, NSW 2762. Job Details: Property Type: Double storey house, tile roof (the roof area in the red box as shown in the attached photo) (requires long ladders and roof safety equipment). Solar System: 21 panels in total, split into 4 separate groups (as shown in the attached photo). Current Issue: Pigeons are nesting under the panels; significant bird droppings on the roof and in the gutters. the gutters highlighted in purple seems to have a lot pigeon drops (as shown in the attached photo) Scope of Work Required: Cleaning & Protection: Remove all bird nests from under the panels. Pressure wash the solar panels, surrounding tiles, and clean out all debris/droppings from the gutters. MUST place plastic drop sheets or covers on the ground/decking/garden below the work area to catch falling droppings and debris. I want to ensure the area around the house stays clean. Solar Bird Proofing: Install high-quality stainless steel mesh (PVC coated) around all 21 panels. Requirement: Must use no-drill clips to avoid voiding the solar panel warranty. Gutter Bird Spikes: Install stainless steel bird spikes on the gutter edge below the solar panel area to prevent pigeons from perching (about 25 meters, highlighted in green in the attached photo). Disinfection: Basic anti-bacterial treatment/spray on the affected roof area after cleaning. Requirements: Please confirm you can manage the debris disposal and ground protection as requested. Photos of the completed work (under the panels) would be appreciated.
