Small plumbing job – leaking pipe/fitting I have a small water leak from a pipe fitting inside a cupboard. Water appears to be leaking from around the black fitting/connector between two sections of copper pipe (as shown in the photo). I have just moved into a new property and need a comprehensive plumbing health check, plus an inspection of an old pipe issue. Please quote for a 2-hour visit inclusive of basic plumbing consumables (washers/tape). Internal Meter Pipe: Inspect an old, currently dried-up leak on the internal pipe right next to the water meter. Check if the joint needs tightening, a new washer, or if a section needs replacing. Water Pressure Test: Check incoming mains pressure and gravity-fed pressure upstairs. Gravity Toilet Flush Issue: Diagnose why the upstairs toilet does not flush reliably (sluggish cistern refill or mechanical failure from low gravity pressure). Hot Water Cylinder & Immersion Check: Confirm the boiler heats the cylinder correctly. Test the electric immersion heater backup switch to ensure it functions. Radiator & Pipe Survey: Visually inspect accessible pipework for hidden weeping. Check radiators for cold spots or stuck valves that might need bleeding.

I’m looking for a plumber to repair/redo the waste pipework for my kitchen sink, both underneath the sink and the pipework immediately outside the property. There is currently a slight leak from the plumbing under the sink, and we also regularly notice an unpleasant drain/sewage-type smell coming from the sink area. The external waste pipework also doesn’t look particularly well fitted, with one of the joints having previously been taped/sealed, so I’d ideally like someone to inspect the whole setup and replace/reconfigure the pipework properly rather than simply patching the existing problem. I’ve attached photos showing the pipework underneath the sink and outside.

Job 1 the toilet cistern is not flushing correctly, the flush is weak, and water continues to run into the bowl after flushing Job 2 a strong unpleasant smell from the area underneath the dishwasher and flies have been observed emerging from the bottom of the appliance, cause may be a leak, trapped waste, deceased pest behind or under the unit. The dishwater may need to be moved or removed to allow for full inspection to identify the source of the smell

Shower waste was accidentally unscrewed from above while clearing a blockage. The lower waste/trap body dropped slightly and the rubber sealing washer fell into the void beneath the shower tray. There is no access underneath the tray. The trap body is still visible and close to the drain opening, so I’m hoping it can be lifted/resealed or replaced from above without removing the tray. I need someone experienced with shower wastes to supply/fit the correct seal or replacement waste, reassemble it and leak-test it.
