Looking for someone to paint my 52sqm apartment. Tools and paint not provided. More details pending on quotes, just seeing the market as was provided another quote through trade/builder. The apartment will be empty for the works. I am also getting flooring done after the painting is done. Looking for someone to quote for an interior painting for a 2 bedroom unit incl window skirting + living room & small bits of the kitchen. Walls are brick seems to be rendered, building & pest inspector noticed that some walls have higher than normal moisture readings if you are familiar with this I would also like to have an opinion if it would be fine to paint over or not.

It’s an empty, 1970s brick veneer, approx. 55 square meters one-bedroom unit that needs repainting of the interior walls, ceilings, the bedroom wardrobe, and the linen cupboard. The small bathroom basin unit needs painting, but there’s no need to paint the kitchen cabinets. Additionally, tasks include painting bathroom wall tiles. All of tasks need a proper preparation before painting such as removing out-let covers, switches, doors knobs and hardware etc. ; and strict surface preparation like cleaning, sanding (and whether the bathroom tiles need to be degreasing), then priming, and then finishing with two coats of painting. The wall tiles need a specialised tile paint that are durable and moisture-resistant, so please let me know the brand of painted you are using.

Scope of Work: • Total walls to be painted: 15-17 walls (Including two bathrooms) • Living room – 4 walls • Kitchen area – 2 walls • Bedroom 1 – 2 walls • Bedroom 2 – 2 walls • Hallway – 2 walls • Standard ceiling height (approx. 2.4m) • Current colour: light neutral • Repainting in similar neutral/white tone • Minor scuff marks and small patch touch-ups required • No major plaster damage What I Need: • Prep work (light sanding, patching small holes, masking, drop sheets) • 2 coats of quality paint • Clean finish with no streaks • Clean up after job completion If the overall quote is reasonable, I would like 4-6 doors to be painting as well (both sides) Please provide: • Whether paint is included • Estimated timeframe • Confirmation of experience I’m flexible with dates but would like this completed in the next few weeks.
