Had NBN appointment to install to a villa however was told the NBN modem will need to be situated in the main house as 2 connections can not be for this property and that I’ll need an external person/electrician to set up an access point to the villa. Wifi is not an option. The villa does have numbered access points that correspond to the same number access point in the office of the main house though not sure if these can be used.

My laptop was hardly used and when it was used it was only for internet browsing and zoom meetings. Fully charged, it just won’t turn on. Nothing happened to it. It wasn’t dropped. I just didn’t use it for a while then went to charge it and it wouldn’t turn on. It’s a HP Pavilion touch screen. And it’s about 6-7 years old.

The old wiring in the house is ADSL landline spec. The top speed we can get out of it is 50Mbps; we would like to be running 100Mbps for all the people who live in the house. As I understand it, the fibre to the node installation is complete, and the street level wiring is good to go. We went with Kogan internet because it was cheap, but they don't offer any kind of installation for the higher speed NBN offerings. I guess that means we need a third-party contractor.

Need help to set up a computer network, have satellite internet and a lot of old computers servers that need to be installed and set up. A full 1 or 2 day job for someone that really knows what they are doing. Have the gear, just need fresh installs, troubleshooting getting into computers and servers without password and then network set up.
