I need help setting up a portable AC window seal for an inward-opening window in a new-build flat. The factory Velcro tape keeps peeling off due to the exhaust heat, so I want to do a magnetic conversion. I have purchased a 400cm universal fabric zipper seal and a roll of matching A+B self-adhesive magnetic tape. I need you to: Completely clean and degrease the uPVC window frame with Isopropyl Alcohol to strip old glue residue. Apply Magnetic Strip A around the inner window frame crease. Apply Magnetic Strip B tightly along the borders of the fabric panel. Set up the AC hose through the zipper. Please bring a heavy-duty adhesive remover (like Goo Gone) to strip the old failing glue first!

Hi there, I need a creative handyman to install two electriQ AC-AIRLOCK universal fabric window seals and connect the exhaust hoses for two electriQ EcoSilent 14,000 BTU portable AC units in my new-build property. The windows have tricky layouts: one tilts outwards and the other tilts inwards, meaning standard plastic slider kits don't fit. You will need to thoroughly clean the window frames so the hook-and-loop tape adheres properly, install the premium 210D Oxford fabric seals to handle the specific inward/outward opening mechanisms, and zip the exhaust hoses securely into place. Both setups must be completely airtight, weatherproof, and bug-proof. All essential hardware (two AC units, hoses, fabric seals, and adhesive strips) is provided on-site, but please bring your own tools, cleaning prep materials (like rubbing alcohol), and any extra cable ties or insulation if needed. Please share any past experience you have with fabric seals or tilting window installations when making your offer!

Hi, I’ve got a JL-MAC-01 9000 BTU portable air conditioner in N1. It’s an R290 self-contained portable unit and it’s showing an E2 fault, which appears to be the coil temperature sensor/thermistor.
